    These work just fine. You cannot expect a 5Ghz signal to penetrate multiple layers of material. I have my camera and transmitter on the back of a truck slide in camper. The signal has to pass through multiple layers of aluminum, wood, and metal to reach the receiver mounted on the A-pillar of the truck. Initially, the signal was spotty and unreliable. I changed out the stock antennas to these and it cleared the signal right up…
